TASK EXPERIENCES

Bring one real task. See the work around the paperwork.

The clearest way to understand ONE is to start with a real piece of work and follow the Task-First path from request to controlled outputs, prerequisites, Work Clearance and evidence.

IN PLAIN ENGLISH

See ONE on a real job, not through a generic software tour.

The worker experience follows the active organisation + workplace + task context. Whether the person is in your own team, an ongoing external person or a short-term external participant is resolved before the task experience opens.

WHAT THIS IS

A Task Experience takes one real piece of work from your business and follows it from the first request through preparation, prerequisites, Work Clearance and evidence.

WHY IT MATTERS

People understand ONE faster when they can compare it with work they already know instead of learning product terminology first.

ONE IN PRACTICE

Bring a maintenance job, construction activity, delivery task, shutdown, cleaning task or other real work. ONE starts with the job and shows what the connected pathway could look like.

01DESCRIBE THE WORK

Start in plain language.

Tell ONE what work is proposed and where it will happen.

02CONFIRM FACTS

Answer only what matters.

ONE resolves the activities, people, plant, location and conditions that can change the pathway.

03PREPARE + CONNECT

One controlled task source.

ONE connects the appropriate work document, training, pre-start, permits, inductions, competency, plant, critical controls and evidence where applicable.

04ARRIVAL + PREREQUISITES

Is this person ready here?

Induction, permit sign-on, licence, competency and other prerequisites stay tied to the person, task, workplace and time.

05WORKER VIEW

See what matters for this job.

The worker reviews short, practical task information, hazards, controls, stop-work conditions, permits and evidence prompts.

06READY TO BEGIN

Start the readiness sequence.

The worker presses I'm ready to begin. ONE records the action and brings forward the relevant pre-start rather than implying the work has already begun.

07PRE-START + CLEARANCE

Can the work start?

The worker checks today's conditions and ONE brings unresolved prerequisites and changed items into view. The authorised Work Clearance decision remains separate.

08START WORK

Record the real start.

Once the required readiness path is satisfied, the worker presses Start work and ONE records the actual commencement time.

09DO + REPORT

Keep changes with the task.

Workers can report hazards, changed conditions, impractical controls or Stop Work matters from the active task.

10WORK COMPLETE

Record when the work is done.

The worker signals completion and ONE records the time, then opens the relevant post-task check rather than closing the task automatically.

11POST-TASK + PERMIT CLOSE-OUT

Resolve what remains.

Defects, hazards, evidence, handover, supervisor checks and permit close-out are completed by the appropriate people.

12TASK CLOSED

Close the loop.

The final record shows what was required, what happened, who acted, when work started and finished, and how close-out was verified.

REPEAT WORKTell ONE once. Reuse what remains current.

For repeat work, the better question becomes “What’s different here?” rather than rebuilding everything from zero.

ONE SOLO · NO ROLE SWITCHING

The same person can be the business owner, authorised person and worker without juggling separate dashboards.

ONE records the separate authority events underneath while the person sees the next relevant action: Start New Work, review, release, worker acknowledgement, requirements, Start Work, hazard/change and close-out.

THE PART MOST SYSTEMS MISS“Work complete” is not the same as “task closed.”

The worker can finish the physical work. ONE can then trigger post-task questions, permit close-out and supervisor verification before the task reaches its final Closed state.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions about this part of ONE.

Open only the question that matters to you.

Do I need to book a meeting to understand ONE?

No. The self-guided See ONE in Action page lets you click through representative worker, sole-trader, labour-hire and Network scenarios.

Do I have to send WHS Apps ONE my own task first?

No. Start with the public walkthroughs. A real customer task should only be used later when there is a genuine implementation or evaluation reason and appropriate data handling is in place.

Where can I see the full start-to-close process?

Open Task Lifecycle & Close-out for the complete Request → readiness → Start Work → active work → Work Complete → post-task → Task Closed story.

I still have another question. What should I do?

Use the green Ask ONE button or the full ONE FAQs first. Register Interest is for joining a ONE pathway, not routine product questions.

EXTERNAL PEOPLE

The worker experience can scale to the relationship without weakening the safety message.

A Connected Worker can receive fuller ongoing organisation management. ONE Safety Access can provide short-duration digital participation. A controlled External/PDF Safety Pack remains available where no paid digital connection is activated.

IMPORTANTPayment controls additional ONE functionality — not whether essential safety information can be communicated.

A sent PDF is evidence of transmission. It is not automatically evidence that the individual completed induction, training, acknowledgements or every other Ready to Start Work gate.
